Centuries of colonial domination and neoliberal dependency have left Africa detached from its roots — politically, economically, and psychologically. The Kenya Left Alliance stands firm in its belief that true liberation begins with the re-Africanization of the African.
This is not nostalgia; it is renewal. Re-Africanization means reclaiming African values of solidarity, community, equality, and respect for life — values distorted by colonial systems and capitalist exploitation. It calls for a radical transformation of education, culture, and governance to reflect the realities and aspirations of African people.
KLA’s approach to decolonization goes beyond politics; it is a moral, intellectual, and cultural revolution. The movement promotes Pan-African unity, resists imperialist influence, and uplifts African knowledge systems as the foundation for sustainable development.
Through this awakening, KLA envisions a Kenya — and an Africa — that stands proudly on its own terms: liberated, self-reliant, and guided by the wisdom of its people. Re-Africanizing the African is not just reclaiming identity; it is reclaiming destiny.

Kenya is at a unique inflection point where the Left can make significant wins over the coming years and even take the presidency with majorities in every legislative house by 2032.
